Megan Gale
Gale was just 18 when she took part in a modeling competition held in Perth. Gale was the model for several years before she became known as a model in 1999 after Omnitel (now Vodafone Italy) hired her for commercials. Gale continued to work in the company through 2006. In 2003, it was announced that the Australian Tourist Commission hired Gale to represent Australia in Italy. Gale's magazine covers comprise of Australian Marie Claire, Grazia and Gioia. Italian and Australian GQ and Maxim. Australian InStyle. Gale also appears in the editorial pages of Australian Cosmopolitan, Vogue Italia and Australian Cosmopolitan. Gale has worked for Italian designers, including Gianfranco Fere, Genny and Gai Mattiolo as well as on the runways of Mariella Burani Angelo Marani, and Milan Fashion Week. Gale is also a fan of a variety of Australian designers including Colette dinnigan, Kirrily Johnsonston Lisa Ho and Alex Perry. As of 2006, Gale was moderator of the Australian television awards, the Logies. Gale has stepped down from runway modelling in January 2008 following 15 years. Her last catwalk in the David Jones Winter Collection Launch in Sydney the following week. The last dress she donned was her Wonder Woman outfit she was to wear in the upcoming production Justice League of America. In March 2011, Gale was back on the runway, and ended Alex Perry's Melbourne Fashion Festival show.
